I learned some new coyote facts last night at a lecture by Dr. Robert Long, Senior Scientist at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.
1. If a coyote is getting too close, you can scare it away by making loud noises or surprising it. 2. It is actually not common for coyotes to eat cats or small dogs. 3. Coyotes mate for life and both parents take care of their pups. Photo by Dottie TIson
